Rocky, our 6 %BD year old pure bred papered Yorkie needs a new home. We are doing extensive remodeling on our home and he is not doing well with the construction. He needs a smaller home where his den is more easily defined and there is less stairs to the yard. Rocky is a larger 9 lb. Yorkie with two ACL injuries but manages fine. He has some anxiety issues and is currently marking because of all the construction confusion. Rocky is good with most people including older kids once he is comfortable with them. He is good with other dogs and is very playful. Rocky needs consistency and is used to being crated when we are away and at ... (Read More)night. Rocky is micro-chipped, uses a doggy door and is trained on the Invisible Fence system. He has a high energy level and needs a strong high energy pack leader human in his new home. Please call or e-mail me if you are interested in taking Rocky home. (Less)

This is Zeva, and she is Zuki's sister. She is about 12 pounds. I have had both sisters for over 4 years. I rescued them from a petsmart rescue group in 2010 and paid over $800.00 for them both. They were born on Jan. 2, 2010 and do very well with each other and my other dogs. I was cited by So. Ogden police a week ago, and they plan to take 3 of my babies. I love them and don't want to separate them from my family. They are so loving and sweet. No behavior problems.

This is Zuki, and I also have her sister Zeva. Both are rescues that have been with me for four and a half years. They will be 5 o January 2, 2015. I was cited for having 5 dogs and they want to take 3 of my babies away. I love these girls and they are so sweet. They will do better if they stay together since they have always been together. Their mother rejected them, and then they survived parvo. Zeva is the sister and she weighs about 12 pounds. Zuki weighs 16.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Yorkie in Utah
Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Utah if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.

lnteresting Yorkie Trivia Low-Cost Utah Spay & Neuter Clinics
Yorkies were bred to hunt rats in the mines of north England. Yorkies were probably developed by Scotsmen working in Yorkshire, England. Piebald Yorkies came about by an accident of genetics in 1984 and are now considered a separate breed, the Biewer Yorkie. Yorkies have been popular ladies' lap dogs for many years.
