Rescue Me ID: 16-12-06-00204Raisin (male)
Raisin is a male puppy, that was dumped near a community mailbox with another dog, that could have been his mom. He was brought to us on the 8th of November and has been held long enough to make sure he is healthy and received 2 of his three puppy shots. His estimated birth date is 8/8/2016. He was very thin and cried all the time. After worming, good food, TLC and playing with the other dogs, he settled down and has become a very sweet pup. He is still not housebroken, but is doing well. Loves the other dogs and would probably chase cats, just like he does the other dogs. He is very active, enjoys running in the back yard chasing leaves. He is up to 6.5 pounds and is eating very well. He would make a very good puppy companion to another dog, to older children and an active family. He would not make a good apartment dog. Raisin is up to date with immunizations, microchipped, neutered and started on heartworm prevention. If you would like to meet this little character, please submit an application from this website. His adoption fee is $200. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-12-02-00162Noelle (female)
This little yorkie mix was a matted mess when she was found hiding out in a bush by her rescuers. They picked her up and brought her into SNIPSA knowing that after a good bath, haircut, and some love, she would easily find the perfect home to call her own. With her fur so matted that she was doubled in size, we had to shave it all off so she could grow in her silky soft yorkie fur nice and healthy. After her haircut and a good scrub, we covered her up in a nice Christmas sweater to keep her tiny 5 pound self warm-and so the name Noelle was given! Noelle is still getting used to being cared for and can be a little shy and skittish upon meeting you. But once she knows you're there for her, nothing makes Noelle happier than staying right by your side. She is the epitome of a lap dog as she loves to just curl right up on you for a nice long nap. Noelle makes the perfect travel companion with her petite size and calm demeanor and if she can come to work with you and spend every day by your side, she will be one happy gal! Noelle doesn't seem to mind dogs or cats but prefers to just be with her humans. Children may be a bit too much for Noelle so she would do best with a family with older children. Who better to bring home for the holidays than Noelle? Fill out an application today at www.snipsa.org! (Less)

We have LOTS of precious fur babies available for adoption, please come meet them at the Addison PetSmart - 3800 Belt Line, Addison, 75001 - every Saturday from 1-7 and every Sunday from 1-6--------------------------------WE NEED FOSTER HOMES FOR ANIMALS! Fosters are the backbone of animal rescue. In most EVERY shelter - in most EVERY county - in most EVERY city - animals r being euthanized (KILLED) daily due to overcrowding - dog - cat - large - small - male - female - puppy - kitten - old - young. We cannot save them without foster homes. APPROXIMATELY ONE OUT OF THREE ANIMALS THAT ENTER A SHELTER IS EUTHANIZED. These healthy sweet pets would have made great companions. Don't know what fostering is? Briefly - it is babysitting an animal until it is adopted. FOSTERING IS FREE TO DO! Most rescues cover all expenses for fosters, and anything they do not cover is tax-deductible. If u cannot foster - please ask your friends and family to. If u want more information - Google 'animal fostering.' I'm begging - it's only temporary but lives can't be saved unless people step up - PLEASE - shelters are overflowing - when you foster one animal - you save two lives - the one you foster and the one that gets his/her space in the shelter. If you can/will foster - let me know, I thank you - and the animals thank you! PS - Have you ever dreamed of helping a rescue but don't have the time, space, or just plain don't know what to do? At your pet limit? Allergic? Can't have pets where you live? Well - how about becoming a VIRTUAL FOSTER... You can choose a minimum amount of $10 a month to 'virtually' foster a homeless animal of your choice (of course, a larger sum would be happily accepted and appreciated). What does Virtual Foster mean? Our foster fur babies typically have many veterinary bills, as this is the nature of being rescued. There are also other expenses related to the ongoing care and rehab of fosters. As a Virtual Foster, your donation will go towards the vetting - medical care, and general care of the animal you have chosen. Your donation will go a LONG way in ensuring a foster dog receives the needed care and attention! In return for your kind donation, you will receive a periodic update on the progress of your foster. Once your foster is adopted, you will be notified so that you can choose another animal to foster. If you genuinely cannot foster, there are still other ways to help. Drive for transports, evaluate dogs in your local animal shelter, or take pictures of their available animals. (Less)

Animal ID: 16-208Java (female)
Java is fostered in Boyd Texas through United Yorkie Rescue. http://unitedyorkierescue.org Java is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs 9lbs. This sweet girl came to United Yorkie Rescue in November 2016. She has sever dental disease and will receive a thorough dental and spay. Java is a petite little girl and initially her Foster Mom thought she was pregnant, but turned out she's just a little butter ball tummy. Java has been getting along well with other dogs and cats, loves car rides and going for walks. She loves to be with her people all the time. Not surprising, she has a bit of separation anxiety when left alone. Java is house trained but with being small she needs to be let out often. She's currently wearing doggy panties to keep from having accidents in the house. For someone who's home and can establish a regular schedule, Java should do great. If you're looking for a cuddly lap dog, Java is your girl, she's ready to go home with you! To complete an application go to http://unitedyorkierescue.org. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-11-14-00082Peaches (female)
Peaches is like a fine wine, aged to perfection. We estimate Peaches to be about 10 years old, but she still packs TONS of personality and spunk into her tiny body. Peaches is mostly blind but she's not much different from other dogs. She enjoys going for walks, cuddling on the couch and is always always excited for snacks! She also enjoys to play. Peaches does well in a crate (although s he probably doesn't need one) and she's potty trained. Peaches gets along with other dogs for the most part and cats too. Peaches precious family did not take very good care of her. She was dumped at a shelter with tumors all over her belly, a very bad ear infection and horribly infected eyes. Her tumors have since been removed. Peaches has chronic dry eyes that will require daily medication for the rest of her life. If you're looking for a sweet & sassy little girl, keep Peaches in mind! PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/adoption_process_k-9_angels_rescue.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. However, we only adopt young puppies locally, due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready. NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian. Please LIKE and share our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/k9angelsrescue. Thank you! (Less)

Lucky is healthy, happy, and energetic. He is crate trained, but would probably rather hang out with you all day or sleep with you at night. He is about 8-9 lbs, neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm NEGATIVE. Lucky would benefit from an active family who will take him on walks, play with him in the back yard, and maybe have a canine fur friend to play with. We are in Waco, Texas and I will not ship or transport him.

Rescue Me ID: 16-11-12-00378Arlo (male)
Arlo, is a wonderful young pup. He turns 1 in January. I purchased him from a family for $300. He is very timid and shy. I fear he has been mistreated by a male in that family. Nonetheless, he is sweet and loves my other dogs and my 13 year-old. He is kenneled at night and also does well in our beds. He is up to date on shots and does not mark in the house. He is chipped and can be updated to new owner. He eats 1/2 cup in the am and 1/2 cup at 6pm. He loves to give kisses and begs to be on your lap and for hugs. He is independent and not a barker in the yard nor home. He is adapted to the outside and is indoor trained as well. He plays with his friends outside while I am at work and comes in at 5, eats and tells me about his day. They are kenneled by 9-9:30 for the night. He wakens by 7 and starts his morning. He needs care and much love into a new home. He is great on a leash for walks. Very smart and fast learning pup. He is quite shy in the beginning but warms up with trust. I am sick in health and can not care for him and my papillon. I hope to find them homes together or separate if I really need too. Look for Cash in other post. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-11-07-00294Phoebe (female)
Purebred female Yorkie in excellent health- approximately 11y old. Predominantly an indoor lap dog, yet she is happy to be outside with supervision. She is microchipped. Owner is 86 and unable to take care of her. House training is an issue, as owner is barely able to attend to her own needs, much less those of the dog. Phoebe does do her business outside and she is capable of holding it if she is in her kennel inside, yet she seems content to use a pad while loose indoors if she has to. Should not be an issue for a new owner who is attentive to her needs. Phoebe has never been socialized with other pets, but she seems fine with children and adults alike. She likes males and females, although she was closest to my father while he was alive. No aggression ever. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-31-00316Chloe (female)
Chloe loves to play!! Her favorite game is running laps at the speed of light in the backyard while her foster mom tries to catch her and get her toy. She loves to be around people and older children. She would love to have an active family that can chase her, play with her and go with her on walks. She likes to be in charge, so she might be happier as an only dog. She does live with other dogs and cats in her foster home though.

Tinkerbell is fostered in Austin TX through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org. Tinkerbelle's picture will be coming soon! Tinkerbell is a 12yr old, 8lb. yorkie who came to United Yorkie Rescue in October 2016. She's housetrained and barks minimally, only when she needs food or to be let out. She loves to socialize once she warms up to someone, but is also great being independent. Tinkerbell loves to explore and go on walks. For her size and personality, she would do best in a home without children, a fenced yard would be preferred but may not be required based on the situation. As she's new to rescue, please check back for more information over time as we learn her personality. |Rescue Me ID: 16-09-07-00620Curly (male)|
Curly is a high spirited 10 month old puppy. He was recently kicked out of his house, by no fault of his own and needs a new home. I am currently fostering him and have gotten him shots, a neuter and on trifexis for flea, heartworm and worm control. he is heartworm FREE and the vet says he is in great shape. Curly loves kids and families. He also loves walks and is great in a crate. He is working on becoming housebroken and on his basic puppy manners. HE is VERY sweet and aims to please. In his last house he didn't get any attention so he is overly excited to meet other dogs and cats. He has shown no aggressive tendencies toward other dogs and cats, only curiosity. Please email email@example.com to discuss little Curly. He is a yorkie mix and weighs 12 pounds. I would prefer for him to be adopted in the DFW area since a home check will be required as part of the adoption. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-05-00085Happy Jack (male)
Jack is about the happiest boy we've ever known. He came from the shelter in bad shape and stayed in bed for the first 3 days until the supplements started to work. Today he's happy and loves to play. He is on the slow kill heartworm treatment (it takes about 6-9 months to test negative). Other than that he is healthy and active. You must have a rather large toy budget... he adores ripping up toys (hence the knickname Jack the Ripper when he spots a toy he wants to rip). One toy he plays with and does not rip... his little ball which he loves. Jack needs a special home where he will be cherished and loved with someone to play with him, possibly an older compassionate child to bond with him and make his best buddy. When making an inquiry please tell us about yourself. (Less)

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Zooey is a really sweet dog. We got her to be a companion dog to our male yorkie because my wife and I both work full time. She has been a good dog but has gotten sick a few times in the four months we have owned her, mainly incontinence. Because we work such busy schedules and live in an apartment we can't give her the proper care she needs. We are looking to place her into a loving home that can take care of her.

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-13-00577Lucy (female)
Lovely Lucy is ready for lots of love and attention! Lucy was picked up as a stray and never claimed in the local animal shelter. Matted and filthy from long term neglect! Poor thing had 'cherry eye' which is a red bump in the corner of the eye and it looks as bad as it feels. Because of her cherry eye, no one wanted poor Lucy! We knew she could be better! Look at Lucy now! Cherry eyes are gone! Mats, filth and bugs are all gone! Dental cleaning so that her teeth are pearly white! It's an amazing transformation! We believe she is a Dachshund/Yorkie mix, but we are not sure. Whatever you want to call her, she doesn't mind as long as you have room in your heart for her! Lucy is about four years old, does well going outside to potty, weighs 15 pounds, and is ready for a home of her own. Other dogs are kind of annoying to her and she doesn't care for them unless it is a male than she is fine. Cats are definitely a no-no! Her favorite thing to do is hang out with someone and enjoy life! WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT. Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
