Jiggy is a sweetheart. He loves everyone and adores other dogs. He chases cats, and when we were on our walks, he went nuts over the birds and the squirrels. He will definitely take off chasing something if not on a leash. He weighs 7 pounds and is also completely trained to a doggie door. HW negative too. His back left leg is shorter than his right. The vet did x-rays and found that it is an old break - actually two old breaks - that have healed and calcified. He is not in pain and it does not slow him down one bit. Rigby is a super sweet little boy who we believe is a Schnorkie (Schnauzer/Yorkie). He is about 1 year old and approximately 14 lbs. We rescued Rigby from a local animal shelter where he came in as a stray and his owner never came for him. His coat was in horrible condition so we had to shave him, but it will grow back and be long, silky, and beautiful. We personally like him with his current short style and he is extremely soft. Rigby is very much a cuddler and a lap dog, but is learning that it's ok to just be next to his person. Hey guys, I'm Warby! I'm a Schnauzer/Yorkie mix with a lot of love to give. When my foster parents picked me up, I was a wreck--my hair was matted and overgrown. I've since gotten a haircut and look slightly more stylish (let's just say my foster dad shouldn't quit his day job). I was very tolerant during the whole ordeal. I even behaved during bath time. I am crate-trained and am working on house-training. I don't understand the doggy door here, but I do enjoy being outside and laying in the monkey grass. Mr Max was rescued from a high kill shelter in the DFW area. Max has not had a great life. His previous owners did not take the time to socialize him properly with other dogs, and kids. He is great with my foster pack, but I have taken the time to work with him on his trust. He loves to be held, and petted and really cuddled. Rascal does have a little marking problem at his foster home but we think it might be due to other males in the home. They are crate trained and sleep in one at night. When they wake up in the morning, they are very patient and wait until their foster mommy lets them out to go potty. They are both sterilized and current on vaccinations and heart worm negative. They love each other so much and we really would like to find them a forever home together. Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
