Yorkie Rescue Information: The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.

Yorkie Trivia: Yorkies were bred to hunt rats in the mines of north England. Yorkies were probably developed by Scotsmen working in Yorkshire, England.

 Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Hello, my name is Rosco. I am very playful and fun. I love to cuddle and fetch. I am good with other dogs as long as they have submissive and gentle personalities. I am good with kids but prefer to not be around them because they scare me and make me anxious, so I do better with women and very nice men who are gentle. I have leg and hip pain and this may be why I show aggression sometimes. I am looking for a loving individual who has the time to nurture me and teach me boundaries and show me patience. I am fearful of strangers and do not like being crated, but I am very good company and faithful. My mommy is sick and can no longer ... (Read More)care for me on a daily basis. She is heartbroken for having to give me up but prays for a loving forever home for me. If you are interested in me please contact my mom. Thank you. (Less)
