    Mindy Lou is a very sweet girl, My mother passed away a year ago, and no one else in the family would take her. She has some allergy issues and is currently wearing a hood because she chews her feet. She is living with a Doberman pincher who doesn't like her..'I fear for her safety. She would be best with an elderly person. That is what she is used to, and just loves to be with someone. She loves to go on walks. She is such a mellow dog you don't even know she is there.     Izzy is an adorable tiny 5lb Yorkie who came to us when her owner was no longer able care for her. She is 10 years old & in beautiful condition for a little senior. She loves nothing more than to be with her person & will follow you around wherever you go. She is quiet & well behaved, likes kids & is friendly with other dogs. Izzy enjoys slow walks & curling up in laps. Yorkies require regular grooming & Izzy is used to seeing a groomer to keep her coat clean & trimmed. Izzy has a heart murmur that prevents her from being put under anesthesia but otherwise she is unaffected by the murmur. She does have dental disease which is typical for a ...     Lily is a 14 year old spayed Yorkie at around 12 pounds. She is mostly blind & has cherry eye in one eye. Despite that, Lily gets around very well, using her ears & nose, & has that spunky personality Yorkies are so well known & loves for! After devoting 14 years to a family they repayed her by dumping her at a high kill shelter. We can only imagine how sad & confused she must be! He's as sweet as can be and absolutely adorable! He loves to spend time outside and go for walks; he's very polite when meeting other dogs.     Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
