Rescue Me ID: 16-10-26-00093Bruce (male)
Bruce was found by Animal Control in pretty bad shape and brought to our clinic. When we first saw him we knew there was something wrong with his face. His left eye was completely closed and he was very painful on that side of his face. After we got Bruce sedated we discovered that he had a broken jaw and that his left eye was dislodged. His eye was beyond repair and had to be removed and we wired his jaw. He was completely matted and his toenails were so long he could hardly walk. It has been amazing to see his transformation. His injuries have healed and he is a feisty, loving boy. Bruce is about a year old and we believe that he is a Maltese or Poodle mix. He currently weighs right at 5 pounds. He will stand on his hind legs to get a better look at things and he loves to climb up on your shoulder and give kisses. Once his hair grows back on the left side of his face no one will even notice that he is different. He plays in the backyard with the other small dogs and some of the large ones as well. If you are someone who likes to teach a dog tricks Bruce might be the dog for you. He seems to be very trainable. Here is a video of Bruce doing a little dance! https://imgflip.com/gif/1cz6xi Bruce might not be the best dog for small children because he is still startled sometimes when you approach him from his blind side. If you are interested in Bruce please visit our website at www.tysorvet.net and click on the adoption tab and you will find a link to the adoption application. Bruce's adoption fee is $150 which includes his neuter, vaccinations to the date of adoption, heartworm test, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-18-00334Jack (male)
Jack's owner is 86 & her doctor told her to not keep this 11 year old dog any longer as his owner is at risk for falling. Jack has a fatty tumor or mass which her vet said awhile ago to not worry about, but Love Mutts Rescue is following up w/ her vet & ours to make sure. Either way, he still deserves a happy home for his senior years !! He weighs 20 lbs and will ne newly groomed. He is super sweet, loves his belly rubbed, and would like nothing better than an older person to be home w/ him for lots of love! He does not need a crate. This happy guy would be great for an older individual or couple.

Animal ID: 138439Muffin (female)
Muffin's people surrendered her to a county shelter because they were moving. They stated that she is good with kids, other dogs, housetrained, playful and friendly. We found that Muffin LOVES to play ball and does bring it back. She even plays ball by herself. She likes to cuddle and loves tummy rubs. She knows some basic commands and walks well on leash. Fully vaccinated, micro-chipped spayed, heart-worm negative, and on preventatives. Muffin is 3 yrs old and weighs about 20lbs. Muffin would love a fur-ever home with a family of her own. Can you be that loving family? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and application. Adoption fee of 250. to help defray veterinary and care expenses to approved home. Meet Taffy and Keira ! They are 8 months old, weigh 3.5 and 4 pounds and absolutely full of themselves!! They love to run and play and then both cuddle up or find the closest lap!! Very well behaved and house trained. They learn quickly and truly enjoy a nice warm lap love to be held and cuddled. Both pups are super sweet and soft. Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in North Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
