He is 1/2 Chihuahua and 1/2 Yorkshire Terrier. Looking for a wonderful home for this puppy as his current family decided to give him up. They both worked full time jobs during day and than home and hour than back to part time job of evening. Loki was always home alone locked in crate which was unfair. They asked me to take him and find him new home for them. He currently spends most of the day out of his crate playing with my dogs either inside or outside on front porch. He is fluffy right now weighs approx. 12 lbs. He looks big with all his hair but completely different of course when shaved. The following description is what ... (Read More)previous owner wrote about Loki.. Loki loves playing outdoors and taking walks. He is trained to sit, lie down, and 'say please' (bark) 'down' when he jumps up. He deserves the best energetic family we can find. He is current on all shots til June 12, 2015 (Less)

I spent a whooping $800 to save this dog. So will not even come close to what I owe on my credit cards to save him. It was really hard to pull from Florida. Jimmy possibly was with a senior as he really is not much for being held but loves to be petted, He is selective whom picks him up, he can snap, the older women and man next to me pick him up all the time and he is really great with ...     Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.

lnteresting Yorkie Trivia Low-Cost Missouri Spay & Neuter Clinics
Yorkies were bred to hunt rats in the mines of north England. Yorkies were probably developed by Scotsmen working in Yorkshire, England. Piebald Yorkies came about by an accident of genetics in 1984 and are now considered a separate breed, the Biewer Yorkie. Yorkies used to be much larger but have gradually been bred down to become a miniature breed.
