Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Maximilian is fostered in Dartmouth MA, through United Yorkie Rescue. http://unitedyorkierescue.org Maximilian is 8lb.s and estimated to be 12 years old. He came to United Yorkie Rescue in December 2016 after being found wandering the streets of NY City, and rescued from the shelter. This sweet little boy is hearing impaired and has limited vision. He needs eye drops and ointment daily for his dry eyes, which will be part of his routine for life. His foster mamma has been teaching him to navigate the house, guiding him up and down stairs, as his depth perception is off and needs assistance. He'll need a very safe environment in his ... (Read More)forever home, with no large dogs or kids, and protection from stairs and other means that he could fall and get injured. He's been enjoying getting carried around a lot. He loves his fleece jammies and lounging his days away. Max loves his foster daddy and is very excited when he comes home, staying very close to him. Wherever foster daddy goes, Max goes wandering to be with him, wagging his tail and sticking to him like glue. When Max loses him, with his bad hearing and sight, he wanders the house looking for him. Foster daddy taps him lightly on his back to let him know he's found him. Max needs a dental, he has some teeth that are causing issues, however the bet would like him to gain a little more weight before the surgery. This little love bug will need to go to a very special home, someone who is home all the time is preferable, with a safe environment and understanding of his needs. He in turn promises to pay for his good care, with lots of snuggles kisses and forever gratefulness. Foster mamma may feel it best he find a home nearby her, so she can help out when needed/if needed. Complete an application for this little treasure at: http://unitedyorkierescue.org. (Less)

This is little King. He is a 3 year old, 11lbs Yorkie/Shih Tzu boy. He got surrendered to us because his owner couldn't care for him anymore. He is very sweet, gets along with other pets and is very calm and friendly. He is almost housebroken but is still marking his territory every once in a while. He does well with people and children but we would rather not have small children as he can be a bit shy and small children with no boundaries would probably%BD'%BD%BD to overwhelming for him. Older children are totally fine. If you are interested in King, please send us a message to receive an application. Our organization and dogs are ...     Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
