They are eight and nine pounds. Maud is the larger one and very much in charge. Maeve is a bit shy. They are sociable and crave attention. Anyone considering this duo must be in search of a cudler / lap dog. These ladies love walks, car rides, and snuggling. Dartmouth MA through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org King, an 11 yr. old 7 lb. boy, came to United Yorkie Rescue April 2017 from the Brooklyn Shelter in New York after his family decided they didn't want him anymore. They said they didn't have money for dentals or neutering, so he's getting cleaned up like a new man with his foster mamma.     Trixie was rescued today 5/26/17 from a local kill shelter where she was impounded as a stray. She was adopted before but then returned 3 days later because the lady who adopted her couldn't deal with that she was not housebroken. Now Trixie is with us and is getting a new shot for a perfect life. Trixie is a between 2 and 3 years old female Yorkie weighing 7 to 8 lbs.     This is Quincy 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier weighing 9 lbs. Rescued today 5/15/17 from a local kill shelter where he was impounded as a stray. Quincy is very sweet and as a typical Yorkie he has quite a high pitch bark. He is not completely housebroken which is quite difficult for the breed but he is crate trained. PIease Read Before Adopting a Yorkie in Massachusetts
    Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
