|Rescue Me ID: 17-06-16-00527Maude and Maeve (female)|
Meet Maud and Maeve, a bonded pair of six year old Morkie's.. These two lovely ladies have been together since birth. They are devoted to each other and can not be separated. They are eight and nine pounds. Maud is the larger one and very much in charge. Maeve is a bit shy. They are sociable and crave attention. Anyone considering this duo must be in search of a cudler / lap dog. These ladies love walks, car rides, and snuggling. They have been introduced to children and enjoy their attention and curiosity, however, we are recommending a home with a couple, retiree, or family with children over the age of 10. Maud and Maeve are spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. They are house trained when taken out on a schedule. Maud and Maeve are being fostered in Wayland, MA. The adoption fee is $600. If you are interested in finding out more about Maud and Maeve, please fill out an application on our website by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application/ We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet. 'Like' Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook! NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. (Less)

|Animal ID: 17-087King (male)|
King is fostered in N. Dartmouth MA through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org King, an 11 yr. old 7 lb. boy, came to United Yorkie Rescue April 2017 from the Brooklyn Shelter in New York after his family decided they didn't want him anymore. They said they didn't have money for dentals or neutering, so he's getting cleaned up like a new man with his foster mamma. King has been figuring out the pack of pups at FM's house, he seems to enjoy the fur friends. When foster dad comes home, he sticks to him like glue, which is great; he is fine with men and women. He has a lot of energy, is a character and has lots of love to give. We'll add to his bio after foster mamma gets to know him a little better. |Rescue Me ID: 17-05-26-00459Trixie (female)|
Trixie was rescued today 5/26/17 from a local kill shelter where she was impounded as a stray. She was adopted before but then returned 3 days later because the lady who adopted her couldn't deal with that she was not housebroken. Now Trixie is with us and is getting a new shot for a perfect life. Trixie is a between 2 and 3 years old female Yorkie weighing 7 to 8 lbs. She is very outgoing, playful and loves to play chase with other dogs. She is absolutely darling and has lots of personality. IMPORTANT: Trixie is located in Atlanta Ga. None of our dogs are located in MA. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Georgia and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. All our animals have a clean bill of health unless displayed in their profile otherwise. If you would like to learn more about our adoption process and to receive an application please send us an e mail. DO NOT FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ONLINE!You can only receive the proper forms from us via e mail. Her adoption fee is $ 550 which includes transport cost, health certificate, all vaccines, heartworm test, spay and micro chip (Less)

Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
