|Animal ID: 15-051King Louie (male)|
Initial Bio 04/13/15: King Louie is a 4 year old, 10 lb. male Yorkie who was sadly left at a shelter by his owners who no longer wanted him because he does not have use of his back legs. UYR stepped in and rescued this guy. Our hope is to raise enough money to get him a mobility cart so he can get around with ease. King Louie is in loving hands now and UYR plans to take great care of him and find him a wonderful forever home!

|Rescue Me ID: 15-04-13-00233Roman (male)|
Meet Roman. This super cute guy is about 1.5 years old and is a yorkie mix of some sort. He is very bouncy, friendly and full of energy. And did we mention cute? Roman loves to play tug and to chase balls. We won't say fetch because he doesn't really get the concept of returning the toys. Roman's best friend is a cat. They love to play with each other and make each other tired. Roman may also do well with a canine buddy who has similar energy. Roman would do best with older children. Roman can take a while to warm up to men. Roman will get neutered, shots and microchip before he goes into his forever home. Roman is working on being housebroken and is used to puppy pads. He is working on learning to go outside every time. Roman is crate trained and currently spends way too much time in his crate; this is why he needed a new home. If you would like to offer Roman a foster or forever home, or if you have any questions, please send us an email to email@example.com or visit our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com. (Less)

Callen is a Young happy boy. He is just over a year old and still has a lot of puppy left in him. He is house trained but need to be crated when left alone. He loves to play and would be a great playmate for kids. He was raised around kids and loves to try and keep up with them. |Rescue Me ID: 14-09-28-00089Dustie (female)|
Dustie is a 7-year-old Australian Terrier. She would do good with another dog. She totally bonds to her owner and wants to protect. She is house trained. She is spoiled and sleeps in bed with me. I don't think she would do well with young children. Dustie is spayed, UTD on shots and even had a dental. Her adoption fee is only $150.

Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
