Rescue Me ID: 15-05-27-00399Angel (female)

Yorkie Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Angel was pulled from the shelter and put in a foster home because she was so stressed in that environment. It takes her a little bit to warm up to people but when she does she loves the cuddles. She would do best in a home without small children because she is so small. She is quite the little pack rat and hauls all the doggy toys to her favorite spot, occasionally sneaking them away from the other foster dogs. She is spayed and current on shots. If you would like to meet Angel please fill out an application at http://www.anythingspawsablerescue.com/#!21applications/c1c5p

Nicky is a well traveled 6lb senior Yorkie! He's lived around the world and has had a wonderful llfe until a few months ago. Sadly, this past February, his human mommy passed away. They had been together for 15yrs. After her passing he was fostered by what was thought to be a loving/caring new home....unfortunetly, he was neglected causing him to loose sight in his right eye and then was turned out in a large city. Good news....due to his microchip he was found but was undernourished and hair/nails knotted and tangled and overgrown. He has been with us for 8wks and has been to groomer and checked out by our vet (immunizations updated, ... (Read More)dental to be done soon) who is amazed at how stoic and healthy he is for all he's been through! (his mommy took VERY good care of him) Nicky's mommy was retired and they were always together. i work outside the home which leaves him alone causing him stress and anxiety and to cry. It breaks my heart. He is a Very special little man that's very happy as long as he is in same room with you/knows you're near while you cook, sew, read, watch tv, visit on the telephone, etc. He enjoys being in the yard with you as well. Nicky is good around other dogs and cats....however, the other pets would need to be gentle with Nicky as well. The perfect home for Nicky is one with a retired couple or single retiree that's home all day and who LOVES dogs and can allow Nicky to have a loving, kind, compassionate home for the rest of his years. Due to his past experience a home visit after placement will be conducted. Please, only serious inquires. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Yorkie in Idaho
Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
