Yorkie Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Baby was a puppy that was being given away at a truck stop down south, but the woman that took her simply didn't have the time for her. Baby spent the first few months in her life in a small bathroom all day long--'Nobody puts Baby in a corner' (bathroom). Now this sweet girl is living life right on a beautiful farm in the country with her wonderful fosters and many other dogs. She is running and playing with dogs big and small and does great! She rides well in a car, loves to go for trips and is wonderful with the children. She falls right in there with the big dogs and is not intimidated at all. Baby is a sweet little lap puppy that ... (Read More)loves to sit in her foster's lap and watch TV. She weighs about 8 lbs. Kisses are her specialty and she gives them freely! If you are looking for a little lap warmer and you think Baby fits the bill, please copy and paster this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Full vetting includes spay, worming and shots, plus transport up north is included in her $475 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what her true mix is. (Less)

James is a sweet older guy of about 10 yrs old, 6 lbs he's very friendly, loves other dogs, is good with kids but being so small we recommend older children. He would probably be fine around cats, although he is not around them so I cannot say for sure. He loves to be outside wandering around the yard, is house trained and will use pee pads at night. he likes to be held but is not a needy dog at all. Please email for more info on adopting our senior boy. James has a fee of $150 He is up to date on shots, micro chipped and will go in for dental and neuter before adoption.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Yorkie in Connecticut
Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Connecticut if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
