Lamb Chop is a 7 lb, 9 month old sweetie pie. She is great with other dogs and has been handled by kids. She is very loving and needs a home with a family who likes to cuddle and hold her. She loves playing and wrestling with other dogs. She can be transported, to a confirmed adopter, to Vernon, CT. leaving Texas on September 16th and arriving in CT on September 19th. Send us an email for an application or go to tessk9rescue.petfinder.com. This dog belongs to Tess' K9 Rescue out of Texas who we partner with. The dog is NOT in CT due to the lack of fosters in the area. If you would consider adopting this dog from Transport then please email us. If not then please choose a dog that you can meet. Good luck in your search and thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog!!The adoption fee and transport fee have to be paid before departure. The total required for an approved adopter to pay (adoption fee $400, health certificate $50, transport fee $150) is $600. (Less)

Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in Connecticut if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.
