She had never been outdoors when I got her and now she loves her daily walks. She has been difficult to house train as she was trained by the breeder to pee on a rug.

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Niles was rescued from a high kill LA County shelter where he ended up through no fault of his own. Even though he had a microchip and his previous Owners were contacted they never came to collect him. so we took him in to our rescue. He has turned out to be an absolute delight due to his loving, pleasing nature. Niles is around 3 years old, weights 6-lbs and is a neutered male Heavy Orange Sable Pomeranian with perhaps a touch of Yorkie (Yorkshire Terrier). He loves other dogs and wants nothing more to do than play or give lots of cuddles to his Pet Parent. He is best placed in a home with another small breed dog. We suspect he will ... (Read More)get along with cats just fine as he is a submissive little boy. Due to his diminutive size no large breed dogs or small children, please. Niles has been prior pad trained but at this time he is going outside to take care of business. Niles will be at the PetCo located at 1824 East Katella Avenue Orange, CA 92867 (714) 289-1400 on Saturday, June 29th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. if you would like to come by and say 'hello' (Less)

Choo Choo is an extremely cute, or 'so ugly he's cute' type of dog, depending on your attitude! He's a super friendly little Chorkie who is an unusual chocolate in color. He's about 1 year. old and weighs a whopping 4.5 lbs. He's very puppy-like, but is a special needs little guy: he has a slight neurological deficit that results in minor head movements and deafness. We don't know what the cause might be as he was rescued from a shelter, but he has been examined by a vet and pronouced adoptable. If you have experience with deaf dogs, or would like to learn more, Please call Janie, his foster mom, at 530-276-9364 to find out more about ... (Read More)him. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Yorkie in California
Yorkie Dogs can make good pets in California if they match your IifestyIe. The Yorkshire Terrier is a cute, spunky little dog with a true Terrier temperament. Yorkies can be dog aggressive and wary of strangers. Yorkshire Terriers are loving and devoted to their people and do fine with children who respect them. Yorkies respond well to firm, consistent obedience training but may require patience when housebreaking. They do fine in an apartment but need to play and be taken on a daily walk.

lnteresting Yorkie Trivia Low-Cost California Spay & Neuter Clinics
Yorkies were bred to hunt rats in the mines of north England. Piebald Yorkies came about by an accident of genetics in 1984 and are now considered a separate breed, the Biewer Yorkie. Yorkies have been popular ladies' lap dogs for many years.
